“Procter & Gamble” is one of the leaders among fast moving consumer goods companies in Ukraine and abroad. Besides general office in Kiev, in Ukraine there are 2 plants: one of them is located in Boryspi (Kievskiy region) and in Ordzhonikidze (Dnipropetrovskiy region).

The company was created through merging of 2 enterprises: in 1837 Wiliam Procter, a producer of candles from England, and James Gamble, the producer of soap from Ireland, united their efforts in Cincinnati city, Ohajo state. Nowadays, the company has over 1 million of stakeholders and over 135000 of employees.

P&G (which has over 300 brands) appeared on the Ukrainian market in 1990. Today Procter & Gamble represents 60 brands on Ukrainian market (Pampers®, Ariel®, Tide®, Gala®, Always®, Tampax®, Pantene®, Lenor®, Blend-a-med®, Oral-B®, Duracell®, Olay®, Head & Shoulders®, Wella®, Gillette®, Braun® and others).
